Julie Schwantes and Nicholas DeNardis were married Aug. 13, 2005, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. Karl Rose, officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by Sherry LaBar, Randy Veale, quartet of Jodi Truchon, Brett Schwantes, Ryan Schwantes and Chad Schwantes; and Brett Schwantes, Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance were held at Belvedere Supper Club.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Carla Schwantes of Spencer. The groom is the son of Nicholas DeNardis I and Gail DeNardis, both of Marshfield. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Jodi Truchon of Herbster. Bridesmaids were Briana Bruvold of Hortonville, Lara Kuzjak of Marshfield and Heather Brust of Janesville. Ryan Cook of Chippewa Falls was best man. Groomsmen were Chris DeNardis of New Berlin, Steve Oppman of Oshkosh and Chad Schwantes of Wausau. Ringbearer was Alex Uy.
The bride is a graduate of Spencer High School and is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. The groom is a graduate of Marshfield High School and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in from UW-Stevens Point. He is employed in insurance sales by AAA in Madison.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. They live in Madison.
